Squarespace: Setting up Shipping for Fulfilment

This step-by-step guide explains how to configure your Squarespace shipping settings to match with Live Ink’s fulfillment service. This ensures your customers are charged correctly and our system can automatically recognise the shipping methods you’ve chosen.

Step 1: Check Your Product Weights

Before creating rates, you must ensure your products have accurate weights so Squarespace calculates costs correctly. (Note: If you exported products directly from Live Ink, these weights should already be correct).

  1. From your Squarespace dashboard, go to Commerce > Inventory.

  2. Select the product you want to check, then click Classic Editor in the top right corner.

  3. Click Pricing & Variants and review the Weight column.

  4. Update any incorrect weights (e.g., if a hoodie weighs 200g, enter it as 0.2 kg). Every product has a point value. Add the values of the items in an order together, then read the shipping cost for that total from the tables above. Most items are either 100 or 200 points. On Squarespace 100 points = 0.1kg // 200 points = 0.2kg.

  5. Click the right arrow to move to the next product, repeat the process, and click Save.

Step 2: Create a New Shipping Option & Map Keywords

Live Ink looks for specific keywords in your Squarespace shipping names to automatically assign the correct shipping method.

  1. From your dashboard, go to Commerce > Shipping.

  2. Click Add Shipping Option and select Depending on Weight.

Crucial Rule: Your Option Name must contain one of the following exact keywords for the Live Ink system to recognise it:

  • UK Royal Mail 24 Tracked
  • UK Royal Mail 48 Tracked
  • UK Courier
  • Europe Tracked
  • Australia / New Zealand Tracked
  • USA Tracked
  • International Tracked

Step 3: Add Your UK Shipping Rates 🇬🇧

  1. Set the Option Name to Royal Mail 48 Tracked (or just 48 Tracked).

  2. Go to the Shipping Zones tab, type United Kingdom, and select it.

    • 0.51 kg to 0.99 kg: £5.99
